Midwifery Services
$5500 Global Fee
Every mother, baby, and pregnancy is different. My approach to midwifery care is centered around understanding what matters most to you, and creating a plan of care that fits your individual needs and desires. I work to provide holistic, personalized care that supports the natural physiology of pregnancy and labor, built on trust and a personal relationship.
As a California Licensed Midwife (LM) and Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), I provide comprehensive care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period for low-risk women planning an out-of-hospital birth.
Prenatal Care
Your prenatal visits are a time to care for your physical well-being, monitor your pregnancy, prepare for birth, and talk through your questions and options. Prenatal visits are done in the home or at an office location, as you prefer. Comprehensive testing and screening options are available, such as lab work, gestational diabetes testing, ultrasound, genetic screening, etc. The focus of this time to to promote wellness of the mind and body in preparation for labor, and to build a relationship of trust, so that when the time comes, you feel informed, prepared, and supported.
Labor & Delivery Care
I offer planned home birth as well as the option of birth center delivery. Your birth environment is an important part of your experience, and I am happy to accommodate each family's needs and preferences.
Both home birth and birth center delivery are equipped with the same supplies, safety measures, and transfer protocol, ensuring safety for you and your baby no matter the location.
Postpartum & Newborn Care
Care for mother and baby doesn't stop once baby arrives. Extended postpartum visits include continued assessment and support for both mother and baby, along with guidance as you recover, establish feeding, and settle into life with your new little one. I also offer full newborn screening options, including weight checks, breastfeeding support, and the state Newborn Metabolic Screening.
Birth is an inherently natural process that is primarily the work families, not of birth experts. My role is to provide skilled, attentive midwifery care while giving you the information, support, and choices you need to make decisions that feel right for your family.
