About Me
Aubrey Severne, LM, CPM
Welcome! I’m a licensed midwife serving Redding, Red Bluff, and the greater Northern CA community. I have 3+ years of midwifery experience, have attended over 90 births in the role of both midwife and doula, and hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree in midwifery.
I consider birth to be sacred. My experiences as a doula and midwifery student have instilled in me a reverence for the journey of motherhood, as well as a deep trust in God's design for natural birth. Again and again I have fallen in love with this work, and been awed by the immense courage and strength women display through this process.
I value creating a space for open, honest communication, educated informed consent, and personal relationship with my clients. My care is Christ-centered, mother-led, and based in the belief that birth is a normal process, coupling the sacred heritage of traditional midwifery with the knowledge and tools of modern medicine.

Midwifery Services
Complete prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum services, including:
- Ultrasound and lab work
- Risk assessment & monitoring
- Nutritional counseling
- Prenatal education
- Labor & delivery services
- Maternal & newborn wellness check-ups through 6 weeks postpartum
Home Birth
I offer both home birth and birth center deliveres at this time. For home birth, all medical equipment is brought into your home by myself, including a birth pool for water birth if desired, at no extra cost. Parents may also choose to deliver at one of our local birth centers. A separate facility fee is charged and paid directly to the birth center.
Well-Woman Care
These appointments can cover a variety of services listed below, as well as education, nutritional counseling, supplement recommendations, and a holistic approach to women's health.
- Fertility counseling
- Wellness screenings such as PAP smears
- Labwork and hormonal panels
